Segment 1: 60 minutes   The Elements of Persuasion
Credibility, managing emotion and logical structure are all important in persuasion. Learn the essence of how to invite opposing counsel, decision-makers and others to support your objectives.
Segment 2: 30 minutes   Turn Conflict into Influence
People become upset and conflict-oriented because they perceive that otherwise they are not going to get their needs met. Learn to identify the other's needs in order to get more of yours met.
Segment 3: 60 minutes   The Stages of Effective Listening
Lawyers are often good speakers and great at presenting logical arguments. A major component of building influence in relationships and satisfying clients, however, is found in the art of listening. Giving another your undivided attention builds credibility and trust and evokes a reciprocal open-minded response. Learn advanced listening skills that can help you get better results.
Segment 4: 60 minutes   Overcoming Defensive Reactions
Under stress, communication tends to become aggressive and/or avoidant. Learn to minimize defensive reactions and get better results, even during difficult conversations.
