1:15 - 2:15   An Atmosphere of Influence
Influence is built on perception of trust and credibility. This section introduces four subtle yet powerful elements that change other people’s perceptions and set a more agreeable mood.
2:15 - 3:45   Getting Them to Say “Yes”
Success in the practice of law depends on getting others to say “yes” to our proposals and requests. Clients and lawyers often become difficult when they perceive rejection of their ideas. This section presents the techniques of the most influential lawyers who rarely say “no,” and instead artfully re-direct discussions toward their own objectives.

4:00 - 5:00   Transforming Difficult Conversations
Opposing lawyers, clients and colleagues are more likely to listen to us if they feel they have been heard. In this section, lawyers learn the elements of influential listening and funnel questioning, and how to communicate with others in a way that invites professional support.
