This section discusses how decisions are made, and helps lawyers develop the ability to appeal to not only the logical brain, but also the emotional brain in order to earn greater cooperation and support.

Trust: Facts and Interpretations
Research demonstrates that 80% of lawyers are actually trustworthy, yet public perception is that less than 20% of lawyers in general can be trusted. This section shows how individual lawyers create the perception of not being trustworthy, even when they are, and how to instead maintain the perception of trust and credibility, even when situations become tense.

10:45 - 11:45   Empathy, Passion and Zealous Advocacy
Understanding what is at stake for everyone involved in a particular matter, including all parties, lawyers and decision-makers, is a powerful way to build influence and cooperative professional relationships. This section shows lawyers how to gain this information and how to use it to achieve better results for their clients. 
11:45 - 12:15   Managing the Narrative
Perceptions, while often incorrect, nonetheless may seem true. In order to achieve the highest degrees of success when attempting to persuade decision-makers, lawyers must manage perceptions and misinterpretations. This section shows attorneys how to maintain the right perceptions in order to gain the desire of decision-makers to support their objectives.
